For anyone in the market for new shocks, here's some info. that may help. All these sites currently offer free shipping for a complete set of shocks. Bilsteins-$259.80(64.95 ea)(BE5-6208-HO/front & BE5-6209-HO/rear). The Edelbrocks are $277.44(69.36 EA)(ED34224/rear & ED33224/front). I don't have the part numbers for the Ranchos, but the price is $279.80(69.95 EA)http://eshocks.com/index.htmhttp://www.samsoffroad.com/samsoffroadsto/rancho.htm#RSX The Edelbrocks and Bilsteins are located at the same site. The part numbers I listed are for my 2000 4x4 LTD/stock suspension. From everything I've read so far, I'll purchase one of these three.....unless I see something better in the mean time. P.S. I'll bet Monsta hasn't put his shocks on yet! |

I can't laugh though, I have my sway bar, rear door pockets, rancho 9000x's,"v" code springs, and autometer tranny, and water temp gauges and a full piller pod in the basement waiting for some heat or a freind with a garage to start installing my toys!!!!

Would like to hear any aftermarket configuration that would help front end dive. |

Maybe I could go out, lay in the slushy driveway... NAH! I'm taking it in for a new front sway bar link, tranny service and coolant change sometime later this week. I think I'll actually pay someone to do it for me! Damn winter! It's the only season that you gotta deal with TWICE a year! Bogus.......

I'm happy with my Bilsteins. I would love to try the Ranchos. Maybe next time.
BTW, it was 70 deg. here this morning at 10:00. I had the windows open in the house and had to run the AC in the X to keep from sweating. Boy, these TX winters are brutal!!

Birdman, last I heard , the 3 sisters were at a "friends" place....but that's another story. I've got a garage(cluttered), some tools and I'll supply the brew....bring it on down to Dixie, Currently 70 degrees, and as Rick said.....brutal! Hey Manky...The Bilsteins advertise that they solve the dive problem. Go to the site(eshocks.com) and read up on'em. |

I think I need a little more incentive than that though...LOL..
