Hello all! Have been lurking for seven months trying to learn all I can about the X. Thanks to everyone for being an outstanding source of information

I purchased a used 2003 4x4 Limited with the V-10. 22k miles. Paid $29,600. I think it's a pretty good price but am willing to hear otherwise.

Here's my question: Does the Excursion come standard with a tranny cooler? No one at the dealership seems to know. If it doesn't, will I need one? Am only towing 3500 lbs now but perhaps 7500 lbs in the future.

Anyhow, am glad to be here and to eventually get to know some folks, especially since I'm so mechanically challeged

Thanks again...

Welcome Jeff Congrats on your new ride. I think the price is average for a v10. Yes the tranny cooler is under the black rubber cover by the hood latch. Its sandwitched between the raditor and the condensor.
