Aloha from Hawaii,
It has been over 6 months since i last posted and i feel real guilty for not coming back. Eric, I apologize for leaving you hangin'.
My computer got FUBAR on the shipment over here so I was without for almost 3 months. I am now settled, have a computer and back online regularly but here's the owrst part...
I sold my beloved Excursion back in MA. I really miss it. I now have an 03 Expedition. Nice truck and all but not the same visceral appeal as my Excursion.
I continue to look for one but the pickins are slim here on the Big Island. I hope that I can continue to contribute.
Sorry for the loss of communication.
PS The baord looks great! You've done a lot of work Eric!

Hey, Monsta. Did you throw in a free snow shovel with the purchase of the Excursion?  Not much need for it in Paradise.
I'm curious, how's the traffic over there? Do they frown on big vehicles?

I almost DID fall vistim of some big waves one day though. While skin diving off shore I was pounded for awhile. I almost met my maker that day.
I cannot change my avatar. It is the only picture I have of my truck after its repairs.

Actually I was saying "perish the thought" to him saying that the guy dismantled my old X.
I got my grill (1st one) from a cop in Ohio that traded with me. 
The second was courtesy of the geek who hit my wife...

SHAME SHAME SHAME on you monsta for obviously not test driving the expedtion before you bought it.
I did and I knew right away that there was something not quite right. I guess it was my EX telling me not to do it.

I test drove it alright! But it was my wife in the driver's seat.
Thinking back she wanted a Chevy Avalanche!!!!!!! The used 03 Expy w/7000 miles was my only hope to keep her out of that strange looking truck!
She refused another Excursion becuase the roads here are VERY curvy and narrow. The Expy really shines on these roads. If I woulda got another Excursion, I would dumped plenty o' money in it to bring up to the same "standard" as my old truck. But alas, there were none available on the island then...
Still working the deal on the other one...the one on my sig...we may end up trading the 03 Expedition for it.
