I've seen the product you reference. Since you've installed it, could you tell any diffrence?

Send me an e-mail and I'll send some pix of mine (you have no e-mail address listed with your profile).

Edited out a repeat. (Repeated myself without realizing another page had started. My bad.)

I had it put on early in owneship, so not sure how to compare. It corners extreemly well. Off Ramps are a breeze at any speed. Doesn't appear to "hop" after a bump. Bought mainly as an alternative to "air bags" (which I have on my van) for towing 9,000 trailer. The Excursion seems to drop about 1" with trailer hooked up. Also have Helwig Sway bar installed so in the lean, I really have 2 systems working.

I'm pleased.

Compare? Hmmm ... You need to find someone located near you who has my radius-rods so you can test-drive theirs. Alternative to air-bags? The bags and the anti-wrap device do two different things altogether. Please forgive me, but I do not understand your reasoning on that point. The cornering improvement is most very likely the result of the Hellwig sway bar ... the anti-spring-wrap device you have does nothing for cornering, and neither do my radius-rods. Go ahead and send me an e-mail, and I'll show you some pix of mine. Then you can see / judge for yourself. Please don't get me wrong here. I am not knocking that product, nor your decision to use it. If you are happy with the ride of your Excursion, then I am pleased for you.

I'm not as knowledgeable as you would are Their "Comparison" with other "devices" lists "anti-sway" and "resists rolls" as a "Yes" in addition to axle wrap.

I'm happy.

Got my set of Gen I Rods installed a couple of days ago! My first reaction was WOW look at the quality! The rods are TOP QUALITY PIECES. The whole experience was so easy and Landyot did a great job of making everything very simple right down to the color pictures with the install directions!

Results:

I have driven over 150 miles since the install and can say, I love the rods and they for sure help with the handling and ride quality. Worth every penny!

Better hold the road feel (100% zero wandering)
Much improvement on bumps on a curve and big level changes (interstate construction)
The truck drives better with a more tight feel and positive steering

The quality is top notch and the directions a breeze. Did the install myself in less than 2 hours

I highly reccomend.

Thanks Landyot! Add one more happy customer to your list!

Previous upgrades:
Bilstein Shocks
Poly front sway bushings
Michelin Tires
Hellwig swaybar rear

And another happy ending ....

If I can get a break sometime soon from building these kits, I'll spend some time working up a set with polyurethane bushings. Looks like they will add very little to the cost, too ... only about $5 to $10 extra

Sorry, Craig. The prototype set will have to pass a few thousand miles on my truck before I offer them to anyone. BTW ... didn't you move to AZ? FYI, your profile still says VA.

..I had to try, right? Either way I look forward for the next batch to be completed. I am finally installing my rear-sway bar so I am looking forward to the improved ride. I didn't want to change my location as I wish I was still in Roanoke. The 80 degree weather isn't to bad though.
