We have had about 4-6 inches of snow today in MN. The commute into work this morning was like a parking lot and a lady in a Dodge Intrepid rearended me. Cracked me pretty hard, scared the poop out of me but I got out and looked for damage. Naturally there was none because she ruined her bumper and license plate on the X's towing package. Woohoo!! That'll teach her to pay attention next time and not follow so closely. And they say SUV drivers are careless...

So like.... who cares.... heheheheheh

I had a clown try on my towing package too at a drive thru. I have a 3 ball hitch and it was very effective.

I am much more concerned about hitting someone else on the front end... theres not much there to prevent an expensive repair bill. Rad, air conditioning cooler, hoses, pipes, things.

I saw a fellow who had put a wraparound grille on.. very impressive. He put it on to protect against hitting moose.

Dave.

Ranchhand.com has a front end replacement that weighs about 300 lbs. that will also ward off animals. I have one ordered for my x after $4,000 damage on my f150 that now has the frontend replacement. $1,100 is worth the savings and hassel of repair if you live in an area with a lot of game.
