We had a light freeze overnight and with the dew, there was enough moisture to form frost on the hood and the windshield. When I got in the X to go to work this morning, I looked at the computer and it was blinking between the word "ICE" and the tempurature. Anyone else noticed that? I didn't realize that thing did that until then. maybe I should read the manual, huh?

aahh, yes here in MI it blinks all the time. Yes my 2000 X does the same. I like cause if theres 4" of snow on the X the blinking ice reminds me there might be ice on the road. LOL

Mine has never blinked "ICE", but I sure wish it would. Is this a setting that needs to be turned on?

I believe they all do that, assuming it is near freezing. It only does it on start up.
My old Expedition did the same thing.

Mine blinks ICE at about 37 degrees F. Nice little touch. Had a BMW a few years ago that did the same thing. It had wheather band radio too. I miss that.

It's almost like you guys in the warmer climates are popping your cherries when you see the "ICE" on the thermometer!! It's a normal thing 'round these parts.
