I do not know the best place to get one but I can tell you a chip is not the answer to better milage. What kind of milage are you getting now? Also what size tires, gears do you have? |

you can not be helped as far as mileage goes.you have the wrong engine.(gas)i have been playing with trucks and hot rods all my life.i know how to make horsepower.in the pasti have read from experts and different rgs(magazines)the if you make more horsepower, your motor will be more efficient and strain less, and therfore save gas.bullpucky,it doesnt work like that.i now own a 7.3 X,and have seen better mileage than i thought possible from a beast this big.and pulling power that would make a big block(large cubic inch engine, gas)cry for help.

Thanks Guys | SuperChips would be a good start but the others are right. You'll see very little mileage increase, if any. With the rising gas prices, I would not recommend chipping a gasser because I really don't feel like the gains are worth the cost of the chip and the added expense of running 92+ octane fuel.
