I just bought an excursion. It's got less than a month left on the factory warranty. I have had no problem getting the first round of obvious problems fixed, but am curious if anyone knows if the following are covered...
Stitching coming loose on leather seat opened up a hole . THIS IS NOT A CUT in the leather. The stitching between the bucket and the side has come apart. I only noticed because I was applying leather treatment.
Clunk under the front – Front end suspension. It has to be a control arm, ball joint, or something. Also has a bearing noise I believe.
Anyone what I can expect to be covered?
What should I pay for an extended Ford warranty?
Thanks.

Thanks chief! I have an appointment scheduled. I looked at the pricing on the FORDESP page and it looks like the dealers have the ability to "play" with that a bit, because I was quoted slightly less... but it's an awesome bench mark.
Thanks for the response... BTW nice truck! |
