Pastuki, I had the same problem and by coincidence sold the ranchos to Johnboy. Read my post of what effects tires, shocks and sway bar make.http://www.northtexaspowerstrokes.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=485
Also, I am not sure what air pressure you run in your tires, I run 50-65psi, recommended on the sidewall of the tire (I don't care what ford recommends). That made a big difference on our 8K lbs X's. I just lifted and put on multiple shocks in front, everything is Procomp and I have the MX-6 adjustable shocks all the way around and it still rides 300% better than stock and even better than stock with the Rancho's 9000X's.
Go for good tires, shocks and a sway bar, you will not be disappointed.

Hey, shock shoppers... check out Edelbrocks! They're amazing! I also run 55psi standard, 70psi in my "E" range R4S Firestones towing my 8500lb trailer. Tire pressure makes a HUGE difference in the handling too.

Hi there dzl_x_4x4 !!!
Those shocks are BETTER than you told me...
unlike you though, I've increased my air pressure a bunch and dropped the shock settings down a bunch to get the best of both workds...
my ride is softer and my fuel mielage is up !!!
Thanks again and great meeting you !
Did you make the northtexaspowerstrokes.com Rally ????
Bet the weather was FUN !

Summit Racing & J.C.Whitney seem to be the two most common sources for the Hellwig anti-sway bar. Rancho's? Do a search online. There's countless distributors for them. |

Check your local 4x4 shops!! Maybe they can get a decent price too!! But like the others have said online is probably the best!!
Good luck!!
