Woohoo, thanks for posting this everyone!!! I realize the design was for soccer moms not to back out of their garage with the liftgate up but MAN, the thing hangs way too low. There should at least been a two-stage system like the swinging doors.

Anybody looked at their hinges on the liftgate? It seems like they are a little on the wimpy side...they appear to be sagging or bending a bit on mine.

One of the better cheap mods! I continued to duck for months after installing the longer rods, Heh Heh...
