Okay, I wil soon be making the plunge for the Radius Arms and Hellwig Swaybar for my 2000X. I have a 2 1/2 Lift kit, will I need to buy drop brackets for each, or will they work stock with this lift?

Thanks!

You'll need drop brackets for the sway bar. Not sure if they specifically sell these anywhere but they could be fairly easily fabricated if you know somebody that's into that kind of thing.

Can't comment on the radius rods...will have to see what others say!

Thanks Eric. When I was at some website, can't remember, anyway, they did list drop brackets for lifts. They listed a 2" and a 4", I assume I would get the 2" since I have a 2 1/2" lift.

The Hellwig anti-sway bar comes with adjustable-length drop-links. Even when set at their shortest length, they should suffice with a 2-1/2" lift. I've been wanting to trim mine shorter (I'm still at OEM ride height), but will wait until after I install my 2-1/2" lift kit.

I'd go with the 2". 4" will be too long. If the stock, adjustable brackets work, you can always return or eBay the 2" brackets.

just did 3 inches worht of lift with my X, both with radius rods and hellwig, both fit fine,

MAKE SURE the 2 1/2 blocks have a taper to them, may get a viberation with the combo if not, i had 3 inch straigh blocks stacked onto my 21/2 and with the hellwig and radius rods hooked up i had a terrible vibration between 50 and 70 only when accelerating,

i removed radius rods and vibration went away somewhat, this led me to believe my problem was eather drive shaft or pinion angle...i put in new blocks that were tappered and with radius rods still disconnected the vibration was 95 % gone, re hooked up radius rods and still good,

i get a real slight vibration at 65 mph to 66 mph then gone,

so the moral of the story even thought on a truck the extra tapper is not needed, for some reason on the excursion the extra tapper is needed to keep driveshaft straight...

my local 4x4 shop swore i would not need tappered blocks but was amazed when i told him it helped vibration

yes probably should get some pics of them, the 39 has been about a 5 yr project so far and have a bit to go on that one, and actually just pulled the body off of the 64 442 to start the restoration on that one needs lot of work but worth it i guess.. have been considering selling that one, just something about having a gm product in my garage LOL...i have ford blue blood in my veins...just been to busy working on customer cars to get my own stuff done...

i bought the X mainly for family vehicle back and forth to florida, but decided to have alittle fun with it, man was the old lady pissed about that one, did it while she was in vegas, she didn't notice the lift until she had to put kids into car seats...has been completly trouble free for 4 yrs, and has only been to dealer once about 2 yrs ago for waterpump...i have just over 60,000 on the clock...
