I should have done it about 7K ago. Dealership wants 5 bones for it but I'm not into spending that kind of dough if I can do most of it. Can anyone list what all is included?

Change engine oil and replace oil filter (duh)
Inspect brake pads/shoes/rotors/drums, brake lines & hoses, and parking brake system
Inspect engine cooling system and hoses
Inspect exhaust system and heat shields
Inspect steering linkage, suspension, and if equipped driveshaft and ball joints
Inspect tires for wear and rotate
Replace engine air filter
Replace fuel filter
Replace cabin air filter, if equipped
Change automatic transmission/transaxle fluid on 4R100 transmissions.
Inspect and lubricate 4x2 ball joints
Lubricate 4x2 wheel bearings, replace grease seals, and adjust bearings
Change manual transmission fluid
Inspect and lubcricate steering linkage
Diesel - Replace air filter as required
Diesel - Replace fuel filter
Diesel - Add 8 to 10 oz of FW16 coolant conditioner to cooling system
Enjoy.

Thanks Eric. That's not all the fella at the dealer mentioned, which is why I decided to ask here. He also mentioned something about an "Induction service", the details of which went into one ear and out the other... except that I did hear "throttle plate" cleaning. Any clue as to what he was referring?

Any clue as to what he was referring? | I used to do this on my Bronco from time to time when I was doing a bunch of maintenance. My guess is that they're cleaning the throttle body. On my Bronco, this would just entail removing the air intake from the throttle body and using carb cleaner and a toothbrush to clean the throttle body of the build-up that occurs over time. I would guess it's something similar.
Not sure on the gasser, but here's how that service would break down for me going off of memory from when I would get this done at the dealer:
Diesel Oil change w/ filter: $80
New air filter: $10
Rotate tires: $20
Diesel Fuel filter: $100 or $150 (can't remember, but it's not cheap)
Transmission flush: Don't remember
You're at roughly $235 for the above. Tranny fluid & filter change + all the other "shop time" stuff seems to be about right for $500. I would imagine that you could do all of this on your own time for at least half as much.
