Please help!!!
I imported a 2000 5.4 XLT Ex to th Uk this week and picked it up yesterday delighted with it.....However when changing the lights etc to UK spec for the test on Tuesday a problem occurred....when I entered the car and tried to start it the theft indicator is flashing and the car will not start I now have a problem that the dealers here in the UK don't know anything about Excursions...the dealer I bought from in the States doesn't have anyone in service dep't until Monday can anyone help...PLEASE

PANIC OVER FOLKS.....CAN YOU BELIEVE IT WHAT A T~%*T I AM ..............................A FLAT BATTERY THANK THE LORD I DIDN'T CALL ANYONE OUT GOSH I FEEL SUCH A FOOL.......BUT A HAPPY ONE NOW!!!!!!

Flat Battery Eh? Well, at least its compact and ready for recycling.

OK OK a DEAD Battery to you guys....believe me I'd have cslled it anything at 11pm last night FLAT/DEAD at least it now works and I'ma happy bunny again...

No input here, just had to laugh at someone else's misfortune. Gotta love simple fixes like a (flat) DEAD battery!!!!

Yeah - we've ALL been there, done that

Helped my daughter set up her entertainment and surround sound and all in her new apartment Saturday....
after getting the all wood HUGE 500 lb entertainment center up the stairs and hooking up tv, vcr, dvd, etc...
found it wasn't switching thru the new rf modulator we had to get because her tv only had one input...
tore things apart... reconnected a new way and STILL dvd didn't come thru right....

DOOH ---- the power supply to the rf modulator was not plugged in

all works slick now - may have to get one of those rf modulators for me now...
no switching between inputs and sources....
it just knows where the input is coming from and switches to that source for u !!! Slick !
