This is a call for Moderators for FordExcursions.com.
The site continues to grow and I'm looking to fill 2 moderator positions to assist in moderating message forums and growing the site.
Please contact me via e-mail by clicking on my username and clicking on the "E-mail this user" link. Please do not reply here.
Seeking a "Gas Engine" Excursion owner to function as moderator and a "Diesel Engine" Excursion owner to function as moderator.
Requirements:
- Must own a Gas or Diesel Excursion
- Must not be a moderator on any other Excursion-related site
- Must have been registered with SuperFord/SuperMotors for over 3 months
- Previous moderation experience preferred, but not required
- Must be able to check in on the site every day or two, daily would be prefered, but we all have lives outside of the Internet -- basically, frequent "chekcing in on things" is important
Responsibilities:
- Help new users with questions as they pertain to Gas or Diesel Excursions (depending on your expertise)
- Enforce forum rules
- Refer other Excursion owners to join this site (both online and offline)
- Promote the features of the site (registration, posting, registry entries, photo albums) by generating overall awareness of other non-forum services available free-of-charge to members
- Use features of the site (registry entries, maintenance logs, etc)
- Move threads as necessary (if they are posted in the wrong forum topic, etc)
- Respond to forum-related e-mails
- Work together with other moderator and myself to generate new ideas
- Make it an enjoyable experience for new/existing Excursion owners by keeping topics moving along and encouraging participation among members!
