Hi all, time to stop lurking... Now that RC Willey and Best Buy have failed to come up with a video system that can be installed in a 2000 limited, I come to the group, hat in hand, asking for guidence and insight.
If you have a video system, please tell me what and how you got.
Thanks in advance

Welcome to the site!!
What are you looking for in a "video system?"
In 2000, I purchased an Alpine CVA-1005, Alpine DVD player, and various amps/subs/CD changer to watch DVDs and function as a video system. I could install more monitors, but never did...have since sold the DVD player but still have the CVA-1005 w/ LCD display that folds out from the dash. There are several aftermarket options with varying degrees of custom installations. What features are you interested in having and how many displays?

Thanks Eric
Well lets see, first we were sold the Sony dream cast and then told they couldn't install with rear air. Got the Rosen R6500 in dash settling for a small dash mounted screen... won't fit the Ex or the Crown vic. Went back took a shot at the Rosen drop down because they had a mounting bracket for Expiditions, Navigators and Excursions... dosen't fit the headliner!!! I think the sales guy can still see out of one eye and he should be back on solid food soon, wifey was a little pissed i.e. she let him live.
This all started because the stock ford radio/cd/cassette is screwed up and we thought we could upgrade. I like the indash but don't think the kiddies can see it to well from the back. Now I'm on a mission to get a decent sized (7" +)drop down monitor that dosen't look like a fix.
So I guess the question is, with rear air, is there a monitor that can be installed in the headliner without replacing the entire overhead console. I'm thinking I could get rid of the rear air controls for the rear seat, as ther same controls are right behind the rear view.
Maybe I'll just go out and ram a Tahoe as the install guy went on and on about how easy the chevies are...
