Hi , I am the proud new owner of a 2000 Limited PSD X and love everything about it. I plan on using it mainly for pulling my mustang (if I ever finish it) and for long trips back to the east coast to visit friends/ family.

I do have some questions though and could not find the answer by doing a search

1. my reverse sensors do not work. When I put it in reverse the off light on the dash button lights up. Does anyone know what I should trouble shoot first?

2. I picked up a Haynes manual that covers excursions and superduties,.Is there a better manual with a little bit more detail that is available for our vehicles?

thanks in advance

Get the 2-volume set the dealers use from the publisher (link below), AND splurge an extra $70 for the wiring diagram book. Total of around $240 ... but they've already saved me many times that amount in service charges. The Haynes & Chilton's books are "ok" ... but that's the extent of how I'll describe them.

My back up sensors quit too, so I checked into replacing the sensors, but at $80.00 a piece its not going to happen.
Ford can go whistle in the wind .

I bought a compleat set of manuals when i bought the EX and while they are not as detailed as they once were, they are still worth the bucks.

Yep.. Your EX will tow the mustang, and the boat and the trailer and the....................

thanks LANDYOT, I forgot about Helm, I've baught manuals from them before for other vehicles; definately worth the money. I'll probably be placing an order tonight.

E. Long thanks for the compliment. BTW that's a sweet 67 galaxie you have there. My stang is also a 67.

Dave thanks for the price on the sensors. For that price, I can live with them as is. Heck if I do back into anything odds are it will just go under me anyway
