Well, I signed a purchase agreement on a 2004 X last Friday night. I will take delivery tomorrow or the next day.
This was a big step for me, coming from 20 years of GM Suburban ownership. The people on this list convinced me that I'd be happy making the change, and the Ford 100-hour 0% financing offer got me :-)
Thanks to all who responded to my 'Switching to Excursion from Suburban' post. I realize that these forums are often used to discuss problems, so the number of people who said 'Been there, done that, would do it again' really helped me feel more confortable.
Thank you all!

See, peer pressure really does work!
j/k Congrats on the purchase, Wayne. You'll enjoy it. Take some pics when you take delivery. I'm a lowly '00 X owner and don't have all of the neat-o bells and whistles those newer models have. Guess you could call it a Vintage X.
