Heya Gang,
I have been searching and reading for most of the afternoon to prevent posting an old problem, but it would appear I have a unique problem. I am well aware of the tempermental door lock actuators on my 2000 Ex. However I had total door lock failure occur all at once. Meaning there were no signs of sticking actuators and the one day I went to hit the door switch and nothing. Not a peep or a grunt of any of the 5 locks on the thing. I tried both door switches, keyless entry key pad and remote to no avail. All the usual suspest stuff has been looked at like the fuses and no tampering. So I would like to hear from anyone who might have a good diagnosis or just simply put that if one actuator fails it can fail all, but I have a hunch this isnt the case. Perhaps the alarm control module? My performance chip(had security system issues with a chip I installed in the past), a common swithc or relay? Any help before I go blindly pulling off door panels would be great.

Thanks in Advance
Bobby

I had this happen 1 time, but I think it was waaaayyyy to hot, it was like 105 outside, and they failed to open, then the next time, it didnt lock. I was all set to take it in and have the dealer look at it, and (knock on wood) It cooled down outside and havent had an issue since.
Coinsidence?? Maybe....But everything is ok now!

I hope you get it figured out!
