I may be faced with the task of trailering a pair of bulls from Terrell TX to Austin TX (220 miles) and wanted to know what all is involved with towing an automatic shifting load?
We've done many trips towing cars on 2 axle trailers but bulls not yet
Anyone have experience feedback/input to share?

My brother-in-law pulls his 3 horses with his F250, but he's got a 5th wheel. If you'd like, I can talk with him and get any tips about pulling large animals. The Excursion will obviously handle the load, I would imagine the same principles and tips could be applied to towing in an X vs. a 5th wheel on an F250. Let me know and I will try and catch him while he's not out on the farm. For living such a slow-paced life, he's hard to get a hold of (no e-mail, no cell phone). I'd die without them!

I got the word Weds evening that the Excursion and I will not be needed to transport the cows down to Austin
Would have been a fun trip and worthy of photo opportunities for the album
