I have a 7.3 diesel excursion and I have some questions maybe someone can help? I just got a super chip and I have banks exhaust turbo back and air intake system. Range hand front brush bar, Cross drilled disc brakes, and tune system/ dvd
I have 33 inch tires and found out that Verde Boxer wheels were defective. This was the reason that I had such vibrations that could not be fixed anywhere. I am now getting new wheels and am excited.
FYI ... I had the air intake first and notice a difference and better fuel economy. I added Banks exhaust and the truck improved both in sound, performance and fuel economy.....and then I added this superchip and it is like a different truck entirely!!!! I runs quiet! I mean really quiet to the point at idle you almost can not hear it. It shifts smoother. and it is to new to tell but they say the fuel economy is much better. I do not know how you are but I really do not care that it gives alot more power and or torque. It is nice if you need it but not my motivation. I think for the quietness and smoothness alone it is worth the $$$ even if no fuel economy comes from it. I do not do much of any towing and if I do it is light. I was totally against this chip thing and the owner of Trick Trucks .... A great guy ..... put it in just to try..... when I got back after 15 minutes riding around ,,,,,,oooooooooohhhhh my GODDDDDDD! There was now way I would take it out. I do not think you can own a better truck
LOVE MY EXCURSION.
Murat
Thanks

As for problem number one, may I suggest a few more amps and subwoofers. This should probably level out the truck some more . Putting you spare tire back in should help significantly as well. That big 7.3 makes the truck so front end heavy. Question number two- tire vibration can come come a number of sources but I have found that 7.3 equipped EX's when not having at least a four inch lift and thirty five's and taking into account that the kinibling pins and muffler bearings are probably worn, vibration is most likely the end result.
As for your third question I know something about everything but I am not an electrician. All kidding aside and the fact I have known you twenty years now give me license to bust your chops a little bit. Welcome to the forum, Murat. You will find some great people on here and I am sure you can get you questions answered. My 2 cents as follows ( without comic relief)
The front end could be lower because of shocks being a little worn. I am sure someone here could advise you on a leveling kit perhaps if it is that far out of wack but I always thought that was for the rear. Maybe mini spring packs or different code springs. The tire vibration issue I had was solved when my wheels were not counterbalanced. That is that weights were not placed only on the inside edge of the wheel. Weight were stuck on on the inside closest to the outside edge there by being balanced on both sides. LANDYOT also suggested to me that my driveshaft could be out of alignment and need to be measured and possibly shimmed as that could be causing the problem. When I drove your truck while you were out of town, I did not notice any vibration at all but that was before the new wheels were installed. For the lights, I would think that if the fog light switch was disconnected and you took the positive wire and tapped into the brown wire on the regular headlamp switch and found a suitable location for the ground wire this might allow the fogs to come on with the parking lights. Has anyone done this?

| This is actually supposed to be like this. The reason being for when you haul a heavy load or tow a trailer, the rearend will level out with the front with the increased weight. Otherwise, if it was level to begin with, you'd be running with the nose pointed in the air while carrying a heavy load or towing a trailer.
