I just wish I had fog lights. Owning a vintage 2000 model year is frustrating with everybody on here that has all of the new bells and whistles! I'll install some additional lights someday, still not sure if I want additional driving lights AND fog lights, or just one or the other.

J-Douglas...
then there are those of us that need ALL the light we can get to stop from hitting you
Check my gallery for pics...
but I upgraded the wiring harness,
upgraded the bulbs in both fogs and headlamps,
and then added EXTRA PIAA 520's on a westin bull bar on the X,
and relocated the stock fogs to the bottom of the bull bar...

Should have done the PIAA's first
Really like the PIAA 520's - they ARE the difference between night and day....
and all the other upgrades account for about 5% of the improvement the piaa's provided...
but all six can be on at the same time if I want
and many times are -
looking for wildlife and fuzzy things

yes I wired a PIAA switch direct to the fogs and the work only with parking lights...( so no rick of leaving them on you tap the switch light wires) They can be on with parks or off and on with both high beams and low beam. Try it it is cheap way to do it....
I had check the ford dealer and they gave me a schematic of the wiring and all and this seemed to be the easiest way.
Good luck

I'm thinking of getting Tracvision, but I am also about to take the dreaded roof rack off (Suggested by this board) what did you do? leave the stock up there or get another roof rack for the tracvision install? |

If you have the auto lights, just pull the switch out in the auto position and the fog lights will stay on all the time when the vehicle is on. Instant daytime running lights! Unless mine's just retarded, that's how they work.
