For those temps I'd run both the block heater and the oil preheater for sure! Stay warm up there Clay!

This morning, my temp gage read 7. For the first time, I had to try twice to start my truck. First try, it fired briefly. Second try it fired and ran very rough for a minute or two.
The forecast calls for warmer weather, but from now on when the overnight temps drop to single digits, or below, I will certainly be plugging my X in. |

i too usually get down to florida in november for a short vacation then again also in april or may, unfortenatly the hurricannes took care of my place down there, under reconstruction right now. hopefully done by april, if not may have to migrate west for the spring vacation...
seems like the older you get the worse the winters become, been in michigan most of my 40 yrs, and still have not gotten use to it..

I just got woken up by the snowplow cruising through our neighborhood this morning! I haven't been out since Thursday (been sick for the past 4 days) but it was 4 degrees when I last drove the X. Been sitting my garage...I'm sure it'll start on the first try. She's used to this type of weather. Single digits ain't nothin'! Clay, -28C sounds more like it. That's what I call winter!!
