It all depends which engine you're referring to...V8, V10, or Powerstroke?

The V8. Runs great - just needs a good tail wind.

None of the above...

The problem really is weight. Reduce the weight & increase fuel efficiency.

I find it easier to just accept it. Anything else will drain your wallet...

try pumpin' up your tires. See if that helps a bit.

Just took a road trip to sunny Florida (snow and cold starting to bug me), PSD, Limited, Goodyear 305x70x16, Monroe Reflex and air filter only changes and I got 690 miles to a tank going down with 48lbs of air in tires, pumped them up to 58lbs for the return trip, got 703 miles to a tank of gas... One stop going and coming, unheard of (for me)... Looking to add a chip before the next trip but as she sits now I got NO COMPLAINTS

2000 Excursion Ltd 4x4, Air Raid, Good Year 305x70x16 on stock rim, Reflex shocks, ACCER DVD system, JVC audio system, stainless steel bug shield - TRADED! Black 2003 Excursion Ltd 4x4, loaded! SWAPPED! White 2003 Excursion Eddie Bauer, loaded also! Will stay stock for the winter months ahead!
