Hello everyone, I just purchased my Ex ("the tank") about a week ago. Anyway, I can't find a single gauge pod in an online store that fits the excursion. I have only seen "Superduty" ones. Are they the same?
Some links would be helpful if you could provide them. Thanks again this site, plus "TheDieselStop" helped me on my decision to buy a 2000 Powerstroke Ex 2wd (wish I could've found an affordable 4x4). It has 114,000 miles, 99 percent perfect interior (Limited Leather), and 95 percent perfect interior and am surprised to report the tranny actually shifts firm got it for 17000 even.
I've been lurking around trying to figure out what mods to go with. Can't decide on which programmer still and I can't find a Hellwig Sway bar for an Ex anywhere, they are all for F250/350's.
Thanks! |

The Hellwig sway bar is easy. JC Whitney has them. It's not specifically listed in their catalog. But if you call in your order they can look up the correct part number. That's where I got mine. Welcome to the forum. You'll love your X, and you will find a lot of nice folks here willing to help out.

| Quote: | thanks everyone! Yeah, I've lurked around to see those mods Too bad the sway bar is 160 NOT shipped | Mine was $135 (including shipping) from Summit when I ordered it back in '00. I'm sure the price increased with steel prices (or whatever the excuse is). Keep looking, $160 is a little high.

The a-pillars...they should be the same. http://www.dieselsite.com for purchase info. Call Bob (the owner) there and ask him which ones will fit. Tell him you heard about his business on this site!

I think I'll go with that when I finally install my gauges. I've had my gauges for nearly 4 years now and they are still in the boxes!! LOL
