Just received confirmation that my Ex was totaled the other night. Looking to replace it now if anyone out there has, or has seen one described above with approx. 100K + miles.

Eric,
The entire thing was done in just under 5 sec. I was cruising down the highway at 60 mph. In the lane next to me (left lane) traffic was beginning to slow down to merge onto the Northbound highway, where I was (right lane) going to be heading south. No one was in my lane, but the the last car in the line up next to me was just about even with my rear view mirror. Out of the corner of my eye I saw them get rear ended. By the time I processed that thought the car that got hit in the rear was pushed out and hit me in the left rear corner. Broke my axle and sent me into a spin. So there I am sliding down the highway sideways at 60 mph headed straight for this Nissan Maxima that was in the line up of cars. Obliterated the right rear of the Nissan with the right front of my Ex and drove him into the concrete barrier dividing the highway and pushed him to the left of the Ford Ranger that was in the front of him. I then hit the rear of the Ford Ranger with my front left fender and that spun me around again. But this time, in the opposite direction, and so fast that I couldn't focus on anything. It was all a blur. Half way through that spin ( realized this after the accident where I saw the big slice of ashpalt that I carved out) my left front tire blew out, my head hit the window , and I thought I was I was going to roll it. I ducked down and covered my head with my hands and the next thing I know is I'm resting on the hood of the Ford Ranger that I just ripped the back off of. It never rolled and I didn't kill anyone in the cars I hit ! What a ride! So I got away with a knot on my head and a sore neck and back.

Wow, glad you are OK!! No serious injuries to you, I guess it pays to drive a tank! Good luck on your quest for a replacement X.

Thanks! I'll need it. It took me four months to find that one. And yes, one of the first things that came to mind after the accident, when I saw the passenger compartment wasn't compromised was that I was going to buy another one.
