Mustang-how did you hook your XM up with the factoy system and the rear controls ect.... |
The XM is controlled from it's own receiver up front, the rear controls only AM/FM/CD playback.
I may have to give Nero another try, okay to bug you guys if I need help?

Which Nero do you recommend there Scott? I may mess with Nero Saturday.
XM runs $9.99 a month but I'm in it for the music not for nascar, football or disturbed stern
If you need to see more pics of Satellite radio installed lemme know I have a folder of em

Hey buddy, sorry it took me so long to get back to ya, I was in PA all weekend!! I use Nero Express, I can see if I can burn it for you and send a snail mail copy.
Email me: [email protected]
That was you dont have to worry about having your address out in public!
I would love to see the pix of the XM installed. I too love music and I think for our trips to PA might just make it worth it!!

Heya Scott,
I was able to get the latest copy of Nero over the past weekend and it has changed quite abit since I last used it
Here's a LINK to my XM installed
I'm hoping to either upgrade the speakers and/or put in an aftermarket stereo with aux RCA's on the back to eliminate the FM modulator.

Cool, glad you got the program...youll be very happy with it I think!! Very user friendly!! That XM looks sweet!! Youve got quite the collection of goodies in that truck!! Is that a hi or low band radio in there?? I had a high band in my old Ranger when I was Asst Ambulance Chief!! Im seriously considering the XM.... Thanks for the pix bud!

Hi Scott, thanks for the kudos on the XM it's a great service to have especially when you're traveling in the middle of no where land with only FM spanish radio stations and that's not my thing
On April 2nd the monthly rate goes from $9.99 to $12.95 but you get O&A and XM Online with it.
The X9000 is a VHF High band with 2 meter Amateur Band programming(I'm a Licensed Operator too)
If you need other technical photos on my Excursion or other mods lemme know

Sweet radio...I had an old 148GTL in my pickup, it was super tuned and all the bells and whistles, had a 300W kicker on it, but decided that was too risky to run around here, so Ive got it all stored waiting on my Jeep. That will be what I put in my trial rig when I get it! I appriciate all the info Bill!! Thanks again!
