I'm renting an excursion for a week, it's the base model 2k5, with all bench seats, no real options to speak of. If any of you have a similar trim package, I've got a question.
Right beneath the front cup holders is a hook, about a foot off the tranny hump, built into the bottom half of the dashboard.
Is that a bottle opener? |

That would be the handy dandy trash bag hook(Exclusive feature in Excursion/Superduties)
That's where the standard tilt out ash tray used to be,most of us use that area to mount Satellite Radios,CB's,brake controllers, gauges, etc.
Would be nice if it were the old style Coke bottle opener

Just the thought of a sober driver doing 80 MPH+ in a 8,000 lb vehicle worries me just the same

Yeah! It's easier to keep the beer from spillin'. What's a redneck's last words? "Hey y'all! Watch this!" j/k No offense meant to anyone. Heck ... I consider myself to be a preppy redneck. "Git 'er dun!" But on the other hand, I prefer Cutty Sark on the rocks to beer. |

If your neck isnt red and you dont have at least one truck in the driveway, your not really apart of our family. When we all get together it looks like a 4x4 and truck rally, 1/2 tons 3/4 tons, 1 tons, Dodge's, Ford's, Chevy's, we got them all covered,, and they all have nascar stickers in the back windows. Some have gun racks and some have rebel flag plates or stickers. We are the Kansas chapter of the Rednecks. |
