Hi!
My 2000 Ex 4x2 V-10 is showing SES code P0133 - O2 Sensor 1 Bank 1 is slow responding. I know that Sensor 1 means the "pre-cat" O2 sensor, however which side (driver's or passenger's) is Bank 1?
Thanks,

Randy...doesn't look like anybody knows the answer to your question. If you do find out, please post your findings here so anyone that has this problem in the future will find the answer!!

I've learned that:
1. Bank 1 is on the same side as Cylinder 1
2. Bank 1 on the Excursion is the passenger side.
Ultimately, I replaced both O2 Sensors, as I felt that the computer would probably work better if the signal from each O2 Sensor was of the same quality/quantity. The swap was easier than I anticipated (please note that I have the Banks Power Pak installed). The only part that needed modding was the driver's side O2 Sensor sihce it didn't have a long enough wire harness to reach the factory connector. BTW, I swapped in Bosch 15716 ($50 each). I had to splice in part of the old sensor's wire harness into the new sensor's wire harness to make it longer. The Bosch was about 5 inches too short on the driver's side; the passenger's side fit perfectly.
I've only put a few miles on the Ex after the swap, and there appears to be no change in drivability, but more importantly, the SES light remains off, and my OBD II reader show zero codes. BTW, I cleared all of the codes before swapping the sensors.
