Eric, I'm surprised that you haven't put clear corners on the X yet. It looks much better with them.

Bruce,
I've given it some thought but I go back and forth about keeping the X with its factory look. My front suspension will probably have 0 clearance between the bump stops when it hits 200K (I'm at 140K), so at that point I'll consider lifting it and giving the rest of the truck a facelift. We'll see!

I didn't locate the point of entry and I was wondering where it might have come from. The sockets that the bulbs plug into were tightly sealed and there were no visible cracks in the light assembly. My guess is that the car wash did it at some point. I will keep an eye on it. Maybe one of the higher pressure sprayers hit the side blinker at just the right angle where water was able to make its way in?

I betchya the leak is between the lens and the reflector body itself as the two I suspect are just epoxy/cheap glued together by whoever manufactures these for Ford and the bond just dried out possibly.
Those Diamond type turn signal/markers are indeed sweet but I'd check out the OEM 2002-2004 turn/markers first as I somewhat like em better than the aftermarket but that's just my less than .02

Hi Eric,
Nice work. I think I have the same problem with my CAC hose - 166,000 miles is a pretty good run for it i guess.
BTW, how are those ceramic brake pads working out? I've got the PF Z-rated models, still get a slight pulsation just before coming to a stop. Everything else (brake components) is new or reman, so I thought it might be the pads?
Thanks & take care,
Mark

Mark,
The ceramic pads made the pulsating worse with the older rotors that were already warped before I put the pads on. However with the ARTs so far, there is no pulsating at all. The ART/ceramic combo seems very nice, I can already tell the different in how much better the X comes to a stop. I just hope it stays this way, the pulsating has gone on long enough!
