Well not the whole thing. I do however think that either someone along the wholesale line swapped out some minor parts or the truck in jinxed. When I bought it one of the rear seat flip levers came off and was broken on the inside. Not a problem the dealer ordered a new one for me. I was on a trip last week and turned the lights on; the knob fell off in my hand, again broken on the inside. I stuck it on with the pointer mark 180 deg. off and it now stays on. Last night the wife was driving and the cover over the OD off switch fell off. Has anyone else had goofy things like this happen? I have only owned the truck for three weeks.

On the same note, where is the best place to get replacements for these type of things. As for the OD button cover I figured a little rubber cement would be best.

Hey John,
Bad things come in 3's,Dont they.On my 99,the o.d. button ring also kept coming off in my hand.I ordered a new part from Ford @ $6.00 for the little thing, anyway,I moved my hand up the shifting lever to keep it off the end of the new o.d.button ring, and it has stayed since.

On the second row seats, the bottom lever's bolt on the outside of each seat would back out on it's own for some weird reason

Probably have to put a wrap of teflon tape on the threads next time I have to tighten em

If you need to get discount pricing for the right parts get a hold of Dale @ www.PowerStrokeShop.com

I am going to wait a few more weeks and see if anything else goes. I will then order up the parts I need so I only have to pay for shipping once.

OD ring is an ez fix. I had one on my 98 F-150 that I had to superglue on, the knob, Hmmm, goofy at best, Ive had my share of things on the Ex happen, but I guess I just chalk it up to a 5 year old truck!!
