I've run across a good used old 1970's Yorks auto A/C compressor that I understand, if working properly, can put out some fairly high PSI's for air tools, tire pumps ups, etc.

It's off a 1970 Ford F250 with an after-market A/C (Texas truck)

Anyone know any info on adding one of these to a PSD Exursion simply for compressing air?

Seems like a swell utility add-on...but my be a royal pain in the arse, with on board air tank, etc.

Any ideas/input is appreciated.

Thanks

I know nothing about the subject other than this guy who makes a kit for full size Broncos. Maybe there is something in here that could lead you in the right direction for getting on-board air in your X:
