All right here's what I got. Were looking into towing our F-250 behind our motorhome. Is this something that can be towed? Any mods to the truck before we start? I found a tow bar for it, so I can ASSume that it can be. It's also a 4x4 any issues with that? Thanks, Bill

If the listening level is too loud, please inform the driver, so he can promptly pull over, and let you out.

Bill,
Will all 4 wheels be on the ground or will you be using a car dolly of some sort?
Is the F250 an automatic?
If the F250 is an automatic and the rear wheels will be on the ground, I would disconnect the rear driveshaft. The reason being that the truck won't be running while being towed and the transmission and transfer case won't have fluid pumping through them.
If you tow on a dolly, the same applies if the rear wheels are on the ground. If the front wheels are on the ground and the rear wheels are on the dolly, then you'll just need to make sure the 4x4 hubs are NOT LOCKED. Also be sure the steering wheel is in the "locked" state.

Thanks Eric. The idea is to have all fours on the ground as to not lug around any more stuff than I need to. It is an auto trans and undoing the driveline every time isn't an option. So now i'm going to look at some other options.
