Hi all,
Got the Walker BTM in from Black cloud diesel last Friday. Found a GREAT shop in the area to install it. My initial impression . For $60, you can't go wrong with this. The truck seemed to run better, accel better, and had a nice little rumble to it, a little drone in the cabin but overall, I am very happy with this. Got it in just in time for the family outing to visit Mickey and friends. I am looking forward to calculating my mileage down to Fla and back to see what kind of improvements I'll have with everything I've done so far. Thanks once again to Bill (CHPMustang) for the recommendation. Also, if anyone in the Memphis area is looking for a good muffler/exhaust shop, check out PRO-Flow Muffler and exhaust on Summer Avenue . Had my truck in and out of the shop in less than an hour and did a super job on the install

Right on Eddie!

To this day we love the sound of the BTM muffler,it's top notch

You have a choice lineup of modifications completed so far and just added the muffler Almost time for a programmer and gauges for the trip to Florida which I'm sure you'll enjoy

Add some pics of your ride to your photo gallery when you get time

If I may borrow a phrase I saw on another site, I think I am coming down with PMS (Powerstroke Modification Syndrome) . Whenever I get something completed on the X, I can't wait to move on to the next mod. I plan on adding an intake (leaning towards the Ford AIS) and then gauges, and finally a chip/programmer . I may have to wait a little while to get the last few. The wife is beginning to question my reasons for buying "ALL THIS STUFF!!" . Some overtime at work may be required to get me over the hump. For now, I am really enjoying driving the X.

Regarding the wife -- mine is now starting to notice when I add different things to the X. I'm actually quite proud of her awareness. Normally she won't notice any change. All she cares about is that her seat warmer works and that the A/C doesn't get too cold. She actually noticed the difference in shifting when I installed the Factory Tech valve body -- needless to say, I was shocked!

Ahhh just tell her you're upgrading the family vehicle for better operating efficiency and handling abilities

The AIS is a good upgrade from the stock box and can be had for under $200 the gauges and programmer varies quite abit price wise

I'm working on purchasing another vehicle to add to the fleet along with buying a home and sending a son off to school so upgrades to our X as in a holding pattern for now

Has anyone put one of these on a 6.0...I ordered one, but the shop I took it too today, said it was too long to fit, so they basically refused to try to put it on.

Terry did you order your BTM from Black Cloud Diesel?

Did you go to a Mom & Pop muffler shop or one of the national chain stores?
