OUCH Bill !
90 minutes in DFW traffic
my butt would not be the problem...
my mental health would be
you must be an infinetly patient man !!!

Now that I saw it mentioned by someone ...
what I've noticed about the seat is that it MUST be positioned a BIT to the right of the steering wheel because when I sit centered behind the wheel, I am more on the left seat bottom bolster and the pleather there is wearing at out only 50K miles or so....

granted since I work from home, I am usually in shorts when I DO venture out of the abode..
and the oils from my skin must be giving it extra grief... but MAN it's falling apart quickly!

I drive about 90 minutes to work and 90 minutes home every dang day across Dallas/FTW...but I still like the factory butt shelves, even for a short 7-11 coffee run.

Hahaha, "butt shelves," that's a perfect description!

Ditto on cant get the seat just right. In my 350,the seat is much more comfortable for some reason,it has no power any thing, all manual, but is very comfortable.I have driven it to Fla. 5-6 times.
In the X,something just doesnt fit right, and the arm rests are a joke.I'm only 5'8" and these things are way too short even for me.I read here somewhere that somebody put the longer arm rest in thier X.Does anyone know of a company that makes longer arm rests?

99 F350,4X4, S.R.W.,7.3,K&N intake,Banks down pipe connected to Gibson stainless steel dual exhaust.Programed with Super Chip and had pod gauges installed

I am looking at putting some aftermarket seats in my truck and want to know what options are out there.

Something like a Recaro etc. that can provide good comfort and support, but no too firm to make for a rough ride.

Suggestions?
