On July 10th, I posed a message titled "Stalled and Restarted." Here's the latest: the truck stalled and restarted after 15 minutes. During the time that it did not start, the PATS light was blinking and none of the other instrument lights were on. It was as if all dashboard lights did not function. And yes, it would crank. Could this still be the Cam Positioning Sensor? The Ex is at dealership.

Thanks for all your help,

David

If it stalled then re-started either immediately or shortly thereafer I'd have to say CPS first off.

In the past when the CPS has gone foul and shuts the engine down all the dash warning lamps.bells and whistles start going off but that was in my 99 F550 and International 4700 trucks so I can't say if the PATS lamp comes on when the CPS acts up.

If the PATS has issues it could be related to the PATS control module, transceiver control module,PCM or the circuitry.
Too many possibilities.

David, you just described my exact experience when my CPS went bad.

Mention it to the dealership if they can't find anything during their initial diagnosis.
