2000 x want to do mods what will give me the most horse power. I am a gear head and want something that will allow me to tow in one setting then kick ass in another setting. I took a friends 6.0 to the track it went 13.74@ 97 mph I want to go 14.7 with my 7.3 please help anyone is the banks big bundle anygood. the 6.0 was equipted witha innovative kit. wanna go fast thanks in advance for the help. |

There are many options.
The basics are computer chip, intake, exhaust.
You can go more hardcore, too.

I had a 2000 X Ltd diesel 4x4 and even though I never raced it the performance did get pick up when I installed a exhaust and new filter

Start with gauges (boost, egt, etc), add an intake (AFE stage 2, MAC), then exhaust system. With the gauges on you can see how the preceeding mods improve the engine's parameters. Once that's done add chip/programmer. One company that is getting rave reviews on another site is DPTuner. Jody Tipton can set you up with any type of program you want, even reflash your PCM.
