This is a thread building off my threat from the PSD forum about the rear sag with the X and Towing with a tongue of 1200lbs.:

Ok, called supersprings and they confirm the issue with the A/C lines. looked under the X and they are right there where the supersprings would go. Forget that??

Regarding the F 350 Springs:
Can anyone tell me what kind of lift I might get from adding the F 350 springs?? I know Tacobuilder (from RV Forum) said 1" but I do not know what year his X is?? or would that make a difference??
I am not concerned about the stiffness as I just traded in the very stiff big block suburban !

I am towing Labor Day weekend, so anybody who can help please do!!

I know Dennis just upgraded his rear springs to B codes and he can tow with confidence like never before

Here's a Thread he posted up covering much of the details.

Man! ANOTHER forum to become addicted to!!

Kinda funny though...to have a superdutyDIESEL.com site with a V10 equipped dually on the page.

They will run about 200 apiece for the 350 rear springs. You will also need the blocks for them, not sure how much they run!

Hi everyone,
I would like to "lift" my x as well. After reading through several posts about installing "v" and "b" code springs, I was curious if it was possible to do this to a 2-wheel drive X. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but most of the stuff I'm reading about is being done on a 4x4. Was wondering if anyone had any info/suggestions on part numbers/parts needed to do this mod to a 2 wheel drive. TIA for the replies.

You would have to purchase an aftermarket lift kit. The 2WD Excursions use coil springs up front as opposed to leaf springs (4x4's have leaf springs). So, not really any substitution you could do with OEM parts.
