When stock availability permits but I've heard many of them did get the bar.
If your truck did not come with the Ford OEM rear sway bay kit it's now obsolete and removed from production thus not available for purchase from Ford Parts.
Only option is the highly respected Hellwig rear sway bar.

Should look like THIS a U shaped bar going over the front part of the rear axle pumpkin connected at each end to the frame by end links.

JC Whitney has the best pricing as of last Thursday,I'm not sure if the free shipping is a revolving special.
A friend of mine just ordered one for his Excursion last week

It doesn't effect the ride like shocks and better tires would but the swaybar stabilizes side to side wishy washy balance of the Excursion.

I guess it should be noted to readers of this thread (not current posters) that only 4x4s had the option of adding a rear sway bar. 2x4 don't really need one since they sit about 3-4 inches lower.
Odd that the parts kit is obsolete since the 05s have the sway bar as part of a trailer tow group.
My 05 2wd handles better than my 00 4wd Hellwig equipped Ex. So you 2WD'ers put your money somewhere else.

I highly respect your opinion Monsta....
but my results differed from yours on my 02 Ex's 4x2
The cornering improved IMMENSELY when I added the Hellwig ?!?
Wonder where the differences lie in our perceptions/results ?
On my 05 4x4 thus far the lack of a rear sway bar has not manifested itself as a big issue for me....
(course I AM 4 years older and maybe I've slowed down a bit around those corners
