I'm going w/ 20 X 10 wheels with a 305 Nitto Terra Grapplers. However, I am concerned w/ highway performance which is my primary usage. Please provide me with any suggestions.

Cheers,
Prio

I have 295/75/16 Terra Grapplers and have taken them from Florida to Virginia, from Florida to Michigan and from Florida to South Carolina and ride real well. The wear is not noticeable yet, so I'm giving them a . Plus they have a sweet tread and look mean. I'm assuming they'll be great for the 20's too. Good luck!

Thanks J.R.,

I am getting the MotoMetal 951 20 X 18's w/ 305 Nittos along w/ a Procomp shock replacement this morning... Check my profile I will post pics later today.

I have a 2000 EX w/ 89k very gentle miles that is paid for and that I absolutely love. I considered picking up a 2005 but man do I hate payments. So, I am rehabing her over the next 30 days.

List-
Wheels & tires
shocks
rear sway bar
05' frontend (painted)
mirrors
fender flares

Interior-
amps
subs
update my pioneer head unit

Possible items-
brakes

Will post pics along the way

Welcome to the X-files!

I'm running Nitto 305-70R-16 Load Range "E" Terra Grapplers (sp?) and have no complaints other than the 65 PSI max. should be 80 PSI max. They've done well in all types of weather from southeast VA to Las Vegas ... dry pavement, heavy rain, 8" unpacked snow ... minimal road noise. I have not (yet) tried them in the sand. Tread wear appears to be excellent so far.

I'm on my second set of Nitto's. 325/60/18 I got 65000 out of my first set. Driven hard every mile. I love them

First week living w/ my Nittos! I love them! When I need to change my tires (Michilin Sport Pilot) on my weekend hottness I will definitely consider Nittos! Unless they fall apart 30K from now.

From a female driving a diesel X, with a radius rod modification, the 305 Terra Grapplers rock. The tire change came first and it was a major improvement - then the radius rods that LandYot came up with, and I can say that it is a formidable driving machine now. I average 30,000 miles per year. A lot of those miles are hard road miles, but the other miles are in-city, in areas that I do not know well and I am glad I have both. Since I could not get the Michelin tires that I ran on my 1999 6.0 diesel GMC, I tried the Nitto tires with trepidation and now would gladly recommend them to others. I run them with MAX air pressure filled with Nitrogen and the ride is a bit harder (not because of the nitrogen - because of the air pressure level), but I know that the payoff will be there in the amount of miles I get on the tires. I look forward to seeing how many miles I actually get out of these tires and the good ride!!
