Ok I have a set of U codes off my old F-250 sitting around and a set of A codes off a buddys F-350 that I can have for free. The question is as follows, How much lift will I get from these springs ? I have heard everything from a 1/2" to 1.25" in the front and from 0" to 1.5" in the back. Thanks guys I appreciate any help you can give me.

Couldn't tell you, sorry... When I installed the B's, I also added a 1" helper.
Truck is pretty much level. I'm toying with taking out the helper and putting in the
4 inch blocks instead of the 2 inch blocks to see what it looks like. I have a set of
LandYot's radius rods here, haven't had time to put them in. I may put the 4's in
at the same time so I don't have to trim the stock blocks - I can trim these ahead of time. |

tfalk! I'll take the 2" blocks off your hands (for $$ of course) if you don't think you'll ever use them again.

Are the B codes softer than what I have on there now or no?

Thanks Monsta, I'm going to hang on to them for a while. I still haven't decided if I'm going to
keep the Ex or not. If I decide to sell it, I will probably put it back to stock.
Aug, I can't tell you if they are any softer than what you have... My Ex had CCGG springs before.
I don't believe I got any lift from the B springs, if I did, it was minimal. I just removed the
1" helper, swapped the 2" blocks for 4" blocks and installed the radius rods. Still haven't
been able to get time to get it on an alignment rack with all the changes. I can tell you this,
the back is a lot firmer than it was, and the truck doesn't jump sideways on bumps anymore.
I still have a bit of wandering, and I'm pretty sure it's alignment related. I'll post the height
changes in a couple of days... right now, I'm trying to get my other toy put back together
so I can do some racing this weekend (if it EVER STOPS RAINING!!!) |
