I need to replace my passenger side (RH) tail lamp assembly, not the socket, bulbs, or wiring, just the lense housing on my 04 Excursion. Would anyone happen to know what the Ford P/N is for this? Thanks everyone.

Unfortunately it doesn't list the part number, but if you search on http://www.powerstrokeshop.com and enter "Tail lamp assy Right" into the search field (search box #3 on their home page), fill in the year/make/model, and click continue, it'll bring up the Rear taillight assembly for the right-hand side of the X. It's $26.80 for the right side. An illustration is also provided for verification.

You can also drill down to that level in their catalog by starting int he body/collision catalog search and clicking on these categories:

1.) Rear Lamps
2.) Combination lamps
3.) Tail lamp assy

Thanks Eric for the detailed response! Yea, I was hoping to find that part number since I'm ordering some stuff from fordparts.com for my F150 and wanted to include this part as well. Problem is fordparts.com requires part numbers from you before item can be added to your shopping cart. I'll keep trying. Thanks again!

FordParts.com should have the light housing you seek. Try looking under "body" and/or "collision parts."

BTW, don't forget that the X uses the same tail-light housings as the E-Series vans.

But I think that some years of the E-series vans are three-wire set-ups because they have a yellow turn signal.

I always wanted to do that swap.... One days, I guess....

Check out Chpmustang's album. He's gone and done it.
