Looking forward to the article for the coolant flush and Evans coolant refill. Got the Evans coolant in my garage waiting for a chance to flush my cooling system. By the way, did your battery light ever go out? Also gauges are in the near future as well, so that will be helpful too. Thanks.

Eddie,
I should be able to get to the Evans coolant swap in 2 weeks.
Unfortunately, the battery light is still on. No idea what is causing it.

My light comes on intermittently. Usually after I first start it in the morning and until it warms up it stays on. Then it will go of when I get the RPM's up. It has done this since I bought it and have never had an issue with starting or anything. Usually worse when it is cold out. Actually it kinda had me concerned this morning because it stayed on extra long during my drive in to the office, but as usual, it went out and stayed out. I am not quite sure what to do about it.

Mine flickers in the cold weather when I first start driving it. Seems to be affected by the RPM but within a mile, it stays on solid.

Scott -- yes, the yellow tops are the deep cycle batteries. Perfect if you have an aftermarket stereo with amps (like me). The amps can drain "normal" batteries pretty quickly if you're just listening to the radio without the vehicle running. When I'm out in the garage, I typically listen to music from the X...haven't tried it with the yellow tops. The OEM batteries were good for about 1 hour tops...then they'd be drained too much to be able to start the X.
