Sorry Monsta, but I am a little slow here. Not sure I understand your response. What does the date of the TSB have to do with my first post...which I am not sure what my first post was.
All I know right now is that Ford has published clarification that we can now use Mercon V as stated to the models/years and specific vehicles in the TSB.
Thought that was the question being asked. So I thought I would double check back to make sure.
Appoligize if you have posted this somewhere before, I was just following this post specifically. Don't get a lot of time to read all the posts. |

You had asked "Monsta, curious why not use Mercon V?"
I said to look at the date of the TSB. Which came out in the middle half of 06.
My post in which your question was drawn from was posted on 2005. That's all.
MERCON V is NOW the spec. But it wasn't when I posted.

OUCH! DUH! OK....you got me! Geez....LOL! Holy resurrection! Not sure how I ended up into that one! Thanks for hitting me on the head so the light bulb would come on. Wasn't thinking to look at the posting dates, since I thought I was looking at recent threads
