I recently installed a set of APC headlights that have integrated fog lights which will operate on a separate switch. APC provided a fog light switch with the head lights but I would prefer to install the integrated Ford head light and fog light switch. My 2000 X did not come with this switch installed (i.e. can't pull the switch out to turn "on" the fog lights).
I looked around on the various Ford parts sites (powerstrokeshop.com) and see that the switch is a cool $90. Ouch. I've searched eBay and didn't find any leads. Anyone know of a place to get these things for a little more reasonable price?

Hey Eric,
I checked 1stfordparts.com. I think they are very similar to powerstrokeshop.com. If the switch you are referring to is the headlamp switch with the fog lights, they have it for around $40. I am assuming that the switch with the headlamps is the pullout type you are referring to. Not sure since mine doesn't have the fog lamps either. May need to give them a ring. Hope this is helpful.

| Quote: | | Thanks Eddie. I actually was looking at the wrong price column. Regardless, 1stfordparts.com was cheaper by a few pennies so I purchased from there. $48 for the switch. Still a little pricey, but better than $90. |
Let me know how this turns out.
I too have a 2000 with no drving lights and have wanted to put them in.
but no real good clean place for a switch.
What lights did youo find to fit in the bumper? |

The lights are actually part of the headlight assembly. I haven't hooked them up at all yet, so I'm not sure how well they work. Will keep you posted on how it all works out.
