Does the Excursion's tripmeter reset to 0 after 1000 miles?

I know the tripmeter on our '02 goes past 1,000 miles.

Darnit. That means someone reset the tripmeter. So much for calculating towing mileage this time.

I recall our 99 SuperDuty had the regular scorereel type tripmeter and thought it was quite an upgrade when we took delivery of the 02
