There's a nice looking Excursion in the Winter 2005 issue of Diesel Power magazine that's worth a look. Pick up a copy at your local book store.
It's a 2005 Excursion built by the owner of Kelderman Air Ride. It's got a cool air bag suspension setup that allows for up to 5 inches of suspension adjustability in the front. The Accu-Air control system automatically dumps the air from the 'bags to create a low step-in height when the vehicle is shut off. When the truck is started, the 'bags are automatically re-inflated by a Viair air compression and a pair of 3-gallon air tanks.
The suspension setup allows for him to run 22x12 American Racing ATX Series wheels and 305/45R22 Nitto NT4205's. It looks like a very clean setup. The 22's actually look quite normal and not overly tacky on this Excursion.
