Here's the Alaska Tent grille cover a fellow Powerstroke owner at another forum installed,I'm sure it can be done the same for the Gasoline powered Excursions as well

0 degrees here today. Don't need no stinkin' grill cover here. The X starts, drives, and heats up like a champ. No plugging in, either.

Our Excursion at an outdoor 32 degrees takes forever to heat up to normal operating temperature even with the cover closed partially or full.

I just had to take an obligatory stab at you southerners! 32 degrees feels so warm to me this time of year. My X is at standard operating temp after about 8-10 miles of driving on the single-digit days.

Our typical route from home to dropping the kids off at school then ending at the office is about 3 miles which is probably not enough to make it even half of normal engine operating temperature.
