The holes in the frame will be just big enough for the hellwig bolts so there shouldn't be a any play unless then again the wrong set were choosen which can happen

I have a Heiwig that thunks like crazy. I keep tighting the upper bolt and it works it self loose. I wonder if I chose the wrong hole in the frame. Ken D.

Regardless if you installed it in the wrong hole, the nut should be self-locking, and not work itself loose. Might be time for a good dab of LocTite or some new hardware.

I think that minor leak occurred around the time he was backing a heavy load up a hill last year

First two pics are when an o-ring gave way and the X dropped a lot of oil.

3rd pic is tranny fluid when I overheated it. Always disengage the trailer brake on the boat trailer when backing it up the driveway.

*whew* I thought that's how your driveway looked every morning!

----------------------

In reference to the original post and picture: Is that Hellwig's NEW style drop links?? Are they not two (junky) pieces anymore? If so, that would be good.
