I visited New Mexico this past summer in my Excurision. Now most of the driving I did wasn't in the cities, but in the real rural areas like Magdalena and Datil (I have a place out there). One can't help but notice a lack of representation of GM products out in the sticks yet a plethora of Fords, especially F-250s, followed by Dodge Rams.
I don't know much about Chevy or GMC products, but seeing that most people had a Ford in regions where the mechanics and shops are few and far between would lead me to believe that they are more reliable vehicles than the comperable Chevy products.
Is this true for most of the country or was it a local observation and I shouldn't extrapolate from what I saw in New Mexico? |

So when does one drive a Chevy? (hee-hee)
Sorry if I offended any bow-tie lovers. That was not my intention. I am not brand-loyal. There's a GM product in my driveway now that I drive a lot ... and don't foresee getting rid of it anytime soon ... well, not until someone makes an offer I can't refuse. I simply could not resist the opportunity for my smart-alec comeback to Eric. |
