If your facing the engine it's on your right or drvers side. Look down on top the steering box. I did mine yesterday so lets see if dummy can remember the tools. I believe I used a 3/16th allen wrench and a 5/8 end wrench. Break the jam nut loose and back it off a bit. Turn the allen in till tight and back off 1/2 turn. Hold steady with the allen and set the jam nut tight again. I've got 98,000 on mine. I made it about 1/2 mile from home and was on the phone to my son to do his. Your gonna love this little maintanence job!!! |

So, what does "setting the steering box up" accomplish?

It removes the side-to-side play in the steering wheel. You know, that dead spot between left and right in the wheel, it makes that a smaller area. |

I have the same question as Steve. Am I hearing you guys say that an add-a-leaf works just as well as the vs in front and the bs in the rear?

I think what I have decided is that I am going with the same set up as Scott did on his Ex, I think I am going with 4" springs front and rear, and 35's.
